Outfits for the Modern Woman

Okay, so I’ll just be upfront and honest here… I’m not big on fashion. I don’t care for all the glitz and glamor or the high-end styles. I don’t care much for brand names and I don’t update my wardrobe seasonally. BUT! I do still like to have my own personal “style” which I call Conservatively Edgy. Here are some of my favorite outfits I’ve worn/created to inspire the rest of you modern women out there!

Outfit #1: Black Halter Dress with Converse

I bought this dress on a whim. I don’t wear a lot of dresses, but when I tried this one on, I loved how it defined and complimented my curves. Sometimes I wear sandals with it but I decided to rock it with some Converse one day and I loved the casual, fun look it created! Good for the office, running errands, or going out for a casual dinner.

Outfit #2: White Tube Top with Tropical Shorts & Sandals

Here’s another outfit I took a risk on. I don’t normally wear tube tops nor do I usually wear shorts (Mainly because jean shorts tend to be very unflattering on my figure and because I’m a HUGE fan of comfy clothes). But I found these at Bealls Outlet and decided to give it a go for my date that night. It all came together for a very beachy look that I felt great in and that my date adored too. Talk about a win-win!

Outfit #3 Black Swing Cami with Black Jeans & Sandals

I’m a huge fan of black. Most of my wardrobe consists of black. Why? Because I feel like a badass bitch in it and it makes me feel confident! This is an easy look that I often wear to work or out for drinks.

Outfit #4: Flowery Top & Jeans with Sandals

This is one of my most feminine shirts. For the most part, I’m not big on “girly” designs. I feel awkward in ruffles and flowers usually. However, every once in a while I find a top that breaks my no-ruffles-no-flowers rule and this is one of them. The shirt is super comfy and is great for date night with your SO.

That’s all I’ve got for now! I hope you enjoyed these looks and if not, we have different tastes and that’s okay. Share your favorite outfits with me in the comments!
